My overall average for my freshman year was a 70 (D- in my school). Sophomore year it was an 86 (B-) and my junior year I had an average of 93 (A-).
So can I still get into a decent college?
My SAT scores were low but I’m planning on retaking them.
I’m involved in a few school activities. I’m a student rep (junior and senior year), I did Yearbook (junior year and I plan on doing it this year too), and I also participated on my school’s Envirothon team for the past two years and I will be a member this year too.
I’ve done community service for an animal rescue and Toys for Tots.
Do you think colleges can overlook my bad grade for freshman year?
